CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

ENSURING EVERY-DAY EXCELLENCE

The Construction Management team manages the details of a project, from the people involved to the timeline and budget allotted. As a part of the Construction Management team, you’ll oversee project planning and scheduling, manage client and subcontractor relationships and use your problem solving skills to ensure projects are on time, within budget and done per plan.

OPERATIONS

ENSURING EVERY-DAY EXCELLENCE

The Operations team is responsible for making sure each work day runs smoothly from start to finish. As a member of the operations team, you’ll be responsible for executing construction processes in the field, leading and managing team members, ensuring a safe production environment, and deploying, operating and supporting heavy equipment.

MAINTENANCE

KEEP RUMMEL EQUIPMENT UP AND RUNNING

The Maintenance team makes sure each project has the equipment needed to get the job done, and done well. As a member of the Maintenance team, you’ll manage and maintain Rummel’s equipment and vehicle fleet while working on preventative maintenance and repairs, providing refueling and lube service, troubleshooting various equipment issues, performing conversions and running equipment transport.

APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Rummel Construction has two apprenticeship programs that are registered with and approved by the US Department of Labor (USDOL) and the State of Arizona Apprenticeship Advisory Committee. The Heavy Equipment Operator and Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentices are chosen from Rummel’s incumbent workforce, as these programs are a three year commitment each.

The apprenticeships combine on-the-job experience with technical training to provide a certified journey person. Apprentices are taught the proper use, care and safe handling of tools and equipment used in their work. Apprenticeships offer improved skills, competency based education, and career advancement. Upon completion of the Rummel’s apprenticeship programs, each graduate receives a USDOL Certification of Completion that is industry recognized.
