For the past 13 years, Rummel Construction, Inc. has hosted the Tracey Miner Memorial Golf Tournament, it has become a staple in our community and we know our clients and employees look forward to this event each year.
Through the funds raised by our generous sponsors and golfers, we can continue to support the Tracey Miner Memorial Fund and carry on the legacy that Tracey left behind.
As the tournament has grown through the years we have been fortunate enough for the opportunity to share the funds with an additional charity. This year we will be making a meaningful donation to the Tracey Miner Memorial Fund and Helping Hands for Freedom.
The Tracey Miner Memorial Fund, established in 2003, was created in memory of Tracey Miner; a young, enthusiastic, vibrant and kind young man who tragically lost his life in a car accident on May 6, 2003. The Fund’s main goals are to help support youth activities in the North Phoenix area, where Tracey was from, and to help families that have found themselves in dire situations beyond their control. Tracey was very active in this community and his spirit lives on in the great deeds that the Fund is able to do in his name. The Tracey Miner Memorial Fund has helped send several students to camps sponsored by the YMCA, the Boy Scouts and Baseball Camps. It has also helped other families bury their lost-too-soon children. It has helped families cover medical expenses when members were diagnosed with life threatening illnesses and helped support families with school age children so they can continue to receive an education.
