This project provided 100-year protection to an area of the City of Peoria west and south of 99th Avenue. The project included one-half mile of gravel-mulch-lined channel, storm drain, maintenance roads, one 15-acre basin, and associated structures. The scope of work included clearing and grubbing, drainage excavation, rip rap installation, native plant salvage, landscaping, box culvert extensions, and concrete pipe installation. Major elements include 151,832 cubic yards of drainage excavation, 5,000 cubic yards of rip rap, 3,000 plants and trees, 8 concrete structures, 3,300 linear feet of concrete pipe, and 17,511 square yards of rock mulch.
