Rummel Construction Earns OSHA VPP Star Status

Scottsdale, AZ — May 16, 2025 — Rummel Construction, Inc. is proud to announce it has been awarded Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) Star Status by ADOSH, OSHA’s highest level of recognition offered through the VPP initiative. This designation is reserved for companies that demonstrate exceptional safety and health management systems and maintain injury and illness rates below national industry averages.

The VPP Star recognition reflects Rummel’s strong culture of safety and the commitment of its employees to maintaining a safe work environment across all project sites.

“Earning VPP Star Status is an incredible accomplishment and something our entire team should take pride in,” said Matt Crosby, Safety Director at Rummel Construction. “It’s a reflection of the ownership our employees-owners take in safety every single day, and the shared commitment to making sure everyone goes home safe. Thank you to all our crews, field teams, and support staff who made this possible – this achievement belongs to all of you.”

To earn VPP Star Status, Rummel underwent a rigorous application and evaluation process, including an extensive onsite review by OSHA representatives. The process examined everything from hazard prevention and control, worksite analysis, training, employee involvement, and overall safety culture.

This recognition places Rummel among a select group of companies nationwide that have demonstrated excellence in occupational safety and health.
