This is a general overview of Rummel Construction, Inc.’s departments and period position openings.
This is the primary department that executes our construction processes in the field, including providing leadership for our team members, ensuring a safe production environment, and deploying/operating/supporting heavy equipment to complete quality projects. Positions periodically available in Operations include Superintendents, Field Supervision, Heavy Equipment Operators, CDL Water Truck Drivers, Grade Checkers, and Laborers.
This group provides leadership and management of projects through activities such as planning, scheduling, client relations, subcontractor management, administration, and problem solving to ensure the project comes in on time, within budget, and per plan. Project Manager positions are periodically available. Project Engineer and Field Engineer Internship positions are regularly available through our Construction Leadership Development Program-College Recruiting Program or direct recruitment.
This department manages and maintains our equipment and vehicle fleet including performing preventative maintenance, refueling and lube service, troubleshooting, repairs, conversions, equipment transport, and fleet management. Functional areas in the Equipment Management Department include Maintenance/Service, Purchasing/Dispatching/Distribution, Transportation, and Administration. Positions periodically available in the Equipment Management Department include Mechanics, Maintenance Helpers, Service Technicians, Transport Drivers, and Parts Runners.
This department prepares project bids, proposals, and change orders, and performs preconstruction services. The department also supports operations with project planning assistance and quantification of work scopes. Positions periodically available include Takeoff Technicians, Estimating Assistants, Estimating coordinators, and Estimators.
This department includes our Accounting, Human Resources/Safety/Training, and our Management Team that carries out business processes and provides support to the rest of the organization.
